Tegaki Tuesday stores very little data outside of submissions, and I never share your data with anyone outside of the public functions of the website, which are described here.
What's stored
When you log in with Discord, I keep your Discord ID, username, avatar, accent color, and banner. These are periodically refreshed. An encrypted login cookie holds your ID, username, and avatar so you stay signed in.
Submissions go through the Discord bot (字ちゃん#0358) on a participating server, so Discord sees them first (see their privacy policy ). Once a submission reaches the site, the image and your Discord ID are stored and shown publicly, credited to your username. Anonymous emoji reactions on its Discord posts are recorded and shown on the card too.
Analytics
The site uses Matomo , self-hosted on my own server with IP addresses anonymized. Nothing is sent to a third party.
The Challenge Wizard
The optional Challenge Wizard sends the Japanese text you type to Anthropic 's API as a part of the formatting process. If you don't want to use it, you never have to, if you prefer you can just format your own challenges manually.
Other services
Avatars and banners load from Discord's CDN, and some fonts from Google Fonts .
